Late 19th Century Continental Antique Treen Gentleman's Travelling Vanity Box With Shaving Mirror
A late 19thC Continental antique treen box of rectangular form with a circular carry handle and locking clasp/catch.
This box would have been used as a travelling "vanity box". The hinged lid opens and folds into two parts and reveals a gentleman's shaving mirror and compartmentalized interior.
Condition - As per the images. The mirror has been replaced. There is surface wear and minor marks as one would expect given the items age however the wear does not detract from the bowl which displays very well. A further condition report is available upon request.
