An 18th-Century English antique oak and walnut vanity mirror / toilet mirror.
With its original mercurial glass plate, framed with applied walnut mouldings, the mirror is hinged and is flanked either side with a tapered upright support constructed from oak with decorative linear carving. Below, the oak box base with plank top and moulded front edge, incorporates three drawers, each with their original brass drop handles. Below, four ball feet support the overall structure.
Provenance - Unknown.
Condition - Please refer to the images. In good condition overall. The decorative finial to each upright supports is missing. The rebates remain. This is a very usable mirror. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
