A charming and diminutive late 18th-Century English antique creamware child's piss pot or chamber pot. Also known in some parts of the UK as a "guzunder" as the pot literally goes under the bed!
With a flared rim, bulbous body, carry handle and supported overall on a raised circular foot.
Decorated in puce with flowers and foliage, the pot bears the name of "Jane Elizabeth Skinner." Her birth can be traced back to the year 1798. She was born in Boston, Lincolnshire, England.
Provenance - Unknown.
Condition - As per the images. The rim has three frits and and the body has a hairline crack however, this remains stable. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
