A George III period English antique oak longcase clock, Circa 1790-1800.

The hood with moulded outswept cornice, brass capped reeded Doric columns flanking a single glazed door over a moulded throat and elongated case door to a plinth base.

The 11" square painted dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, floral spandrels, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture, twin winding holes and 8-day movement with hourly strike on a bell.
