
19th Century English Antique Veneered Salt Box With Marquetry Inlay
A 19thC English antique saltbox.
Constructed from deal (pine) and screw and nailed construction, overlaid with mixed veneers incorporating a geometric pattern.
With a shaped wall plate above a single lid joined to the carcass by way of brass hinges.
The lid opens to reveal an interior void of any fittings.
