A wonderful 16thC German antique flattened cow horn gunpowder flask.
Decorated to all sides with scrimshaw-work. One side depicting a warrior about to battle with a boar. The other side decorated with a circular pattern.
Complete with its original brass fixings and spout.
Provenance - Ex Dr Alex Brunet collection. Previously sold at a continental auction 24th June 2024. Bears his collection label and an earlier collection label.
